Lakshmi Bhandar Eligibility 2026:The Lakshmi Bhandar Scheme is a special initiative for women in West Bengal. However, not every woman is eligible to receive the monthly financial assistance (₹1500 or ₹1700). There are strict rules set by the government regarding Age, Residency, and Employment status.

Who Can Apply? (Basic Rules)
If you meet the following conditions, you are welcome to apply for the scheme:
- Resident:You must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
- Age Limit:You must be between 25 and 60 yearsof age.
- Household Head:You should be a female member of the family.
- Health Card:Your family must be enrolled in the Swasthya Sathischeme.
Who Cannot Apply? (Exclusions)
Even if you are a resident, you might not be eligible if:
- You are a Permanent Government Employee(Central/State).
- You receive a regular government pension.
- You hold more than 2 hectares of agricultural land.
- Any member of your family pays Income Tax.
