Lakshmi Bhandar Required Documents 2026: Complete Checklist
Planning to apply for the Lakshmi Bhandar Scheme? Before you visit the Duare Sarkar camp, make sure you have all the right documents. A single missing paper can lead to rejection. This guide lists every mandatory and optional document required for the 2026 application process.
Mandatory Documents (For Everyone)
These documents are compulsory for ALL applicants (General, SC, and ST). You must carry the Originals and one set of Photocopies (Xerox).
- Aadhaar Card: Proof of Identity. Must be linked to your mobile number.
- Swasthya Sathi Card: The health card is the most critical document linking you to the scheme.
- Bank Passbook: First page showing Account Number and IFSC. (Must be a single account, no joint accounts).
- Mobile Number: An active number to receive SMS updates.
- Passport Size Photo: Recent color photograph (Carry 2 copies).
Category-Specific Documents
If you are applying for the higher amount (₹1,200), you need to prove your category:
- Caste Certificate (SC/ST): Issued by the competent authority in West Bengal.
(Note: General and OBC category applicants do not need a caste certificate. They will automatically be considered for the ₹1,000 tier.)
Self-Declaration Form
Along with the main application form, you will need to sign a self-declaration stating:
- You are a resident of West Bengal.
- You do NOT earn a monthly salary or pension from the Government.
